Christopher Meloni’s new series was going to have his beloved Stabler character going deep undercover - infiltrating all forms of organized crime. It was important that we give viewers a sense of where the show was going - not just battling old mafia bosses, but all aspects of the modern crime world. We developed a spot that feels like a gritty main title sequence, exploring the duality of Stabler’s character and introducing Dylan McDermott’s “big bad” of the first season.
